How to Setup and Use OneDrive on iOS?

OneDrive is a great utility for syncing and sharing your data online. It will allow you to access your photos, videos, recent files and organize your files on iOS, but do you know how to use OneDrive in iOS? Here are the instructions to solve your problem.

Login to OneDrive

Here is the process of login into OneDrive on iOS. Follow the instructions carefully.

•    First, you will have to go to Microsoft OneDrive.

•    After that, you can enter your Microsoft email ID in the “Email or Phone” section.

•    Also, you can enter your contact number if you want to add your contact number to your Microsoft account and click on “Go.”

•    After that, enter your password in the password’s section.

•    Then click on Sign in.

•    Thereafter click on OK or No Thanks when the prompt comes.

View and Select Files

Here is the process of viewing and selecting files. Follow the instructions carefully.

•    First, you will have to ensure that you are on the “Files” screen.

•    After that, move down to see the folders, photos, and documents files on this screen.

•    Then select a document file to view it.

•    Click on a folder to open it.

•    Now, click and long press a folder or document.

•    “Share” tab- It will allow you to share any folder(s), document(s), through email, Apple message, or social media.

•    Trash can- Choose the items that you want to delete and when the prompt comes, click on delete to confirm.

•    Folder icon-  It will permit you to move your selected items.

•    Parachute icon- If you choose a separate file, then this icon makes your chosen file accessible online. 

•    Now, back to the “Files” page.

Upload a File

Here is the process of uploading a file. Follow the instructions carefully.

•    First, you will have to click on the + icon.

•    After that, check the upload options and choose any option given below:-

•    Take a Photo or Video-  OneDrive will use your camera when you click on OK, your camera will work on iPhone. You can capture the photo or record a video and click on “Use Photo” or “Use Video” to upload it to OneDrive.

•    Select Existing-  When you click on OK, OneDrive can access your photos application and then you can select a photo or video and click on Done to upload it on OneDrive.

•    The other options are  MS Office and Scan.

•    Now, click on the Upload option.

Create a New Folder

Here is the process of creating a new folder. Follow the instructions carefully.

•    First, you will have to ensure that you are on the “Files” page.

•    After that, you can click on the + icon.

•    Then click on Create a Folder.

•    Now, you will type the folder name.

•    Thereafter click on Create.

Navigate OneDrive’s Pages

Here is the process of navigating OneDrive’s pages. Follow the instructions carefully.

•    First, you will have to select the Photos tab.

•    After that click on the Recent tab, it is next to Photos tab, and you can see your any uploaded file here.

•    Click on Shared. You can view your shared documents here.

•    Now, click on Me. You can see various options on this page like Add account, Storage Space, Offline Files, Recycle Bin, Settings, Help and Feedback and Logout of this account.
